First results show and I’m already upset with America!
People, people, people. I’m so disappointed. Patrick Hall doesn’t get enough votes and the rocker off key fuzzy haired blonde cowboy from North Carolina (Bucky Covington) and the young and sorry folks, annoying Kevin Covais stay in? I record the show even when I can watch it live (for the instant replay action) and right now I am watching the show again and cannot believe someone who could actually sing didn’t make it to next round. Sorry piano man. I’m still a huge fan.
Please, I implore you, if you didn’t vote this week…stop that! Be patient. I have never had a problem voting if I wait about 15 minutes to call. Vote for multiple people, multiple times, just vote.
Okay, I’ll try to calm down to comment on the rest of those who left.
America had it right with opera star Stevie Scott and obnoxious Bobby Bennett. I’m a little surprised by Becky O’Donahue though. Not my favorite this week, but certainly better than Kinnik Sky. I don’t think the racy photo gossip had started last night to affect voting. And I’m not sure it would have mattered anyway. I will make another prediction though, and I promise I’m not being “catty,” in less than six months Becky and her sister will be naked in Playboy magazine.
I think I’ll be going into Idol withdrawal with several days before the next show. But then again, I kept last nights show and I can watch Ace, oh, I mean the show, over and over again until next week. By the way, I have a coworker who doesn’t think Ace has “it.� ARE YOU KIDDING? Is there anyone else who would agree?

Hmmm…well - buh bye Bobby - you REALLY overstayed your welcome. I was surprised at Patrick too, but while I do enjoy his singing - I don’t consider him a serious candidate for the final AI. I think the winner has to appeal to the teenyboppers as well to be a true AI! And I am so disappointed that Brenna didn’t get the boot - can’t wait for her to get lost! Kim

Sorry Kelle, but I DID NOT vote for Patrick… He just always seemed like a kind of blah personality. I’m sure he’s not, but I just hadn’t seen enough of him to think he had any of the “it” factor. I’m not saying I like Bucky, but I think there are people out there who will keep voting for him. At least Bobby got the boot though. I think Kevin will go in the next couple of weeks - no worries there…

Maggie’s husband: I was a huge Constantine fan, but he really did have to try to be all sexy. Sometimes he was successful, sometimes not. Ace on the other hand, doesn’t have to try, he just is.

Maggie - you’re husband is killing me! I was not a big Constantine fan and in my opinion, the camera loves Ace much better! Constantine seemed like he was trying to hard to have that “smoldering” look when he sang - Ace just has it!

My husband says Ace is a Constantine wanna be. I can see that, but both of them have the “it” factor. Ace just has better eyes. As for Kinnik, I agree. I can’t see her staying around for long.

Oh, Kelle - I knew you would be hot over Patrick getting booted. I don’t understand it either. I wanted Bobby and Bucky to go. Oh well. I am glad that Becky got the boot though -although I probably would have preferred that Brenna go first. (Sorry!)
