Laura Bush does her part
You knew it had to happen. After Hurricane Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast, it was only a matter of time until the feel-good, tear-jerker TV shows would show up. That’s not a bad thing; No region of the country needs a helping hand more.
“Three Wishes” showed in previews last week that Amy Grant & Co. will be down there doing good deeds. Now ABC’s “Extreme Makeover - Home Edition” is on the scene. And, according to an Associated Press story, first lady Laura Bush appeared in Tuesday’s taping with designer Preston Sharp. They were handing out donated items in Biloxi, Miss.
No word on when the episode it will air.

I’d like to know when everyone is going to step up and help those people in California who have lost, or will lose, their homes to the fires?
