Big Brother, where art thou?
Go back to the beginning and imagine, if you can, Ivette and Janelle lasting to the bitter end of Big Brother 6. It’s always hard to argue with success, but still. Could Ivette be any more annoying; could Janelle be any nastier? As for the third leg of this shaky stool, Maggie impresses us by her amazing ability to keep her mouth pretty much shut. The saving grace of this season’s waning days is that there’s no April anymore. It’s been a jaw-dropping season down the line, what with Kaysar’s rebirth and immediate redeath; James’ nine lives and the godlike qualities bestowed posthumously (not literally - he’s not dead, just dead to the Big Brother House) on Eric, who was really just a bossy little big man. Having come this far, it’s going to be impossible not to see the game through to the bitter end and (we hope) bitter reunion show, but we’re not too happy about it.

i havent had a chance to catch up w this version of survivor yet, but this is the first one, truly, where the next day people in the office were talking abt it as though it was the greatest thing since sliced bread… as good as the godfather or something… a worshipful entertainment experience… and i hate to miss that… so i guess i have to get on the bus
