Final: Badin 61, Waynesville 52

Badin defeats Waynesville 61-52 in the Division III sectional boys basketball semifinals here at UD Arena, outscoring the Spartans 12-2 in the final four minutes.

Scott Purcell (20) and Tyler Sanders (15) lead the scoring for the Rams (12-10), who will return to UD on Friday at 8 p.m. to meet unbeaten top seed Madison for a sectional championship.

Waynesville finished 8-13. Jay Allen scored 18 points for the Spartans.
