Lakota West looking to fill assistant AD position

Lakota West High School is searching for a new assistant athletic director.

Jason Cronk has stepped down from that post to teach full-time and spend more time with his family.

West athletic director Gerry Weisgerber said he hopes to have the position filled by August when the fall sports teams prepare for their respective seasons.

“We’re talking to different people,” Weisgerber said. “We have a few people interested in it.”

Two of them are West teachers Chris Clemmons and Tiffany Sawyer.

“A lot of stuff that’s happened here in the building and the facilities is due to Jason,” Weisgerber said. “He’s had great ideas. He’s been quite an asset to the program.”
