Perspective if you knew anything about collective bargaining you would know that union workers have plenty to “whine about”. Your post is part of the problem….ignorant to the issues at hand yet you must spew forth your uneducated opinion… Union contracts protect what should be fundamental rights for workers, address grievance procedures, and provide remedy should there be an impasse at the table. The current legislation is flawed and the bill’s sponsor admittedly doesn’t even know what effects it will have. Scrap the bill and put something on the table that keeps progress moving.

Had any of you unionites read the Bill you might know that you will still be able to collectively bargain for wages and work conditions.Quit whining already.

I think that this town hall meeting was a sham. I have friends who requested tickets and didn’t get them. Yet there were all those empty seats in the theater. And the Governor spent a good deal of time introducing his allies in government, including people he appointed. It seems that this town is being over-halled by an arrogant governor.

I hope he doesn’t forget to include the part where he is going to make the state stronger by cutting wages and worker’s rights so more of our young people will want to stay in Ohio instead of going to other states where pay will be higher and job security will be greater. I also hope he puts in the part where we will get the best teachers, polic and firemen after their pay is cut.
