Sarah Palin’s PAC needs “freedom fighter” from Vandalia to change her occupation
By Cornelius Frolik Staff Writer
VANDALIA — Sarah Palin’s political action committee filed a contribution report that failed to properly list the name and occupation of a donor from Vandalia, according to Salon.com.
In an Aug. 11 letter, the Federal Election Commission said the PAC is required by federal law to identify all people who contribute more than $200 by listing their name, mailing address, occupation and employer’s name.
Some of the entries of contributions from Palin’s PAC contained inadequate information, according to the commission.
One entry, a $211 donation from Vandalia resident Gina Burson, had her occupation listed as “freedom fighter” and her employer as “EveryONE,” according to Salon.
The PAC had until Tuesday to respond to the election commission, otherwise they could face an audit or enforcement action.

I’m liberal and can’t stand Palin, but this story is dumb…who cares? DDN, you’re not that bright.

What don’t you posters cut all the crap about employment statistics. The truth of the matter is, there’s only so much that any president can do about unemployment. As for the Republicans, if the majority of voters were satisfied with the job they were doing, the Democrats would not have regained control of the House and Senate.

I guess I should no longer be amazed that the DDN deleted my comment from earlier today where I criticized Cornelius Frolik for not taking the time to contact Gina Burson before writing this hit piece. Took me all of 10 seconds to locate her address online, his I could not find. $11 over the reporting trigger causes me to think this is a bogus contribution from someone trying to set up the Palin PAC, kind of like a straw man. Focusing on this while the career criminals in DC rob us blind taking care of their cronies explains all we need to know about the intent behind the DDN. You should be ashamed for not doing your job.

@True Story - Back up your big mouth about how Republicans are not Pro Job? Explain how under the Bush administration unemployment never rose over 6% but after the Democrats gained control of the Senate and House, it rose to double digits, seemingly never to drop. You refer to no benefit, temp jobs, were you thinking of the Census job “saved or created”“? I can think of one type of job that Republicans are against - Make Work, do nothing productive government jobs….

The real question here is why the DDN is publishing this. What does the DDN have against this woman? Is it because she donated to a Sarah PAC? If this woman had donated to democrat PAC would the DDN print this article? How much harassment is this woman going to receive because of the DDN? Is the DDN trying to get people not to donate to Sarah?

If you missed the strange donations to Obama’s campaign, one must ask where were you in 2008. The information was all over the news. Yes CNN and MSNBC carried and the internet did as well. My favorite contribution to Obama was from Mickey Mouse.

Philman.. what HAVE you heard, and from whom? And where did they hear it from? Do they have any facts, or just hearsay like yours? However, I will say that singling out Gina is pointless, since there are probably many that have inadequately disclosed information to the Palin pac. Reasoning out what role ethnicity plays, or sexual orientation, leads to cognitive dissonance, espeically since the presenters of such logic would SURELY object to any denigrating comments about Palin. And for those that left denigrating comments about Palin, better wake up. She’s got momentum, and whatever shortcomings she might have she can overcome. Never underestimate an opponent, never treat them as contemptible and unworthy of respect.

It’s going to be interesting to see how this all shakes out as the Tea Party insurgents continue to wreck havoc on the Republican party.

Sarah Palin is ignorant, totally incompentent, and a complete joke. Philman, time to read and understand what exactly is going on. The Democrats have done a horrible job but the Republicans have done much worse. If, as you say, Obama got illegal contributions, then why are you the only one esposing this crap? The Republican party would be all over this if there was a modicum of truth to it. It’s people like you who tarnish and obstruct our system with innuendo’s, lies and outright deception. The rest of us will make up our own minds when we enter the voting booth. As for me, the hell with them all, but I gotta vote for somebody. One more election; lesser of two evils.

Palin and Christine O’Donnell should team up and make the sequel to Dumb and Dumber. The bigger question, is who in their right mind would donate anything to Sarah Palin?
