Kasich bills campaign for make-up artist
Republican John Kasich’s campaign paid at total of $250 for make-up artist Kandi Mayo’s services on two occasions last year, according to his 2009 annual campaign finance report.
Apparently, Mayo made up Kasich for his June 1 campaign announcement and for an event on Oct. 13.
His campaign spokesman Rob Nichols noted that it is standard for candidates to get make-up if they are to appear on TV or in commercial shoots.
Kasich, a former Congressman and former Fox News host, is running against incumbent Gov. Ted Strickland, a Democrat.
Strickland, who has been known to shop at thrift stores, did not report make-up, haircut or similar expenses on his 2009 campaign finance report but he did bill his campaign in 2008 for a $250 make-up job by Leora Ludwig.
Democratic presidential wannabes John Edwards billed his campaign account for two $400 haircuts and Hillary Clinton, now U.S. Secretary of State, reported $2,500 in hairstyling fees as media production costs on her campaign account, according to news reports.

Wow…news must be slow, hope we have some more snow so that DDN has something special to write about. Have you ever thought that Ted make be well versed in applying make-up? A little make-up, a teleprompter, and a new national superstar… NOT ON THIS WATCH.

So, Kasich was only managing director of Lehman Brothers? OK, that sounds like he’s fine. He only flew back to New York once a week or so. He was obviously completely out of the loop.

D your nose is going to grow spreading lies. You know very well that Kasich was NOT responsible for the problems at Lehman. He was NOT directly involved and was not responsible. If the DDN was to report what you say, they would be in trouble for the lie and probably could be sued. You know very well that Kasich balanced the federal budget during the Clinton administration.

Dear “D” (or is it Duh) In 2001, Kasich became employed as managing director of the Columbus branch of Lehman Brothers. He stayed there until September 2008. I know that small minded people like yourself think that Columbus Ohio is the center of the banking universe for Lehman Brothers but it’s not even close. Along those same lines maybe the local Saturn dealer is responsible for that company’s collapse. Use your head for once.

What a lousy headline. Do you just assume we don’t actually read the article? Why doesn’t the headline say “Kasich and Strickland Hire Make-up Artists”? Oh, right - that wouldn’t be pushing your liberal adgenda. What was I thinking?

BUT HOW ABOUT THE STORY ON worldnetdaily.com where Nancy Pelosi is spending taxepayer money to the tune of $1000.00 a week for BOOZE on her brand new tax payer funded 757 jet.it showed a itemized bill, thanks to freedom of information act, not a peep from the ddn and the rest of the LAMESTREAM MEDIA.
