Your favorite TV shows are taking a winter break

It’s that time of the year again, when television shows take a month or two off for winter. We’re all probably used to it by now. This is the time of the year when most people take their vacations and they don’t necessarily want to spend it in front of a TV so networks decide to forgo lower ratings and just air reruns.

So when will your shows return with new episodes?

The folks over at CinemaBlend.com have compiled a great schedule of 2009 midseason television premieres. They will be continuously updating the schedule, so be sure to check back if your show isn’t listed.

These are the shows I’ll be looking forward to:

Broadcast Networks

January 8th
8-9 PM Ugly Betty - Season 3 returns (ABC)
9-9:30 PM The Office - Season 5 returns (NBC)
9:30-10 PM 30 Rock - Season 3 returns (NBC)
January 15th
8-9 PM Smallville - Season 8 returns (CW)
January 18th
9-9:30 PM Family Guy - Season 7 returns (FOX)
January 21st
9-10 PM Lost - Season 5 premieres (ABC)
February 2nd
9-10 PM Heroes - Season 3 returns (NBC)
February 13th
8-9 PM Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - Season 2 returns, New timeslot (FOX)
9-10 PM DOLLHOUSE - Series premiere (FOX)
March 17th
9-10 PM Reaper - Season 2 premieres (CW)

Cable Networks

January 16th
10-11 PM Battlestar Galactica - Season 4 returns (SciFi)

I can’t believe I have to wait until mid-March for the season 2 premiere of ‘Reaper.’
