Guys, this one is (mostly) for you.
The cost of everything has gone up recently, and disposable razor blades certainly haven’t been left out. I buy mine at a discount warehouse, but the cost still seems outrageous.
This got me to wondering: How long do you shave your face with a disposable razor before getting rid of it?
I am using mine for one week now and shave daily.
I talked with some friends, and their answers varied widely. Check the Web on this topic, and you’ll get anything from the low end of one or two uses to two or three weeks. (I can’t imagine trying to stretch mine for three weeks. I think that would be painful on the face.)
Share how long you use yours and any tips you have for extending the blade’s life, thus saving you some money.

Gabriel Brothers, which opened a site near the Fairfield Mall a few years ago, is full of some of the best treasures. You absolutely have to work. Take your time and go through the rack of odd-looking T-shirts and you’ll come up with things like I did: My proudest find is a BCBG dress, worth more than $100, that I bought for $2. I am not kidding!
Where do you find the great deals? Let’s share tips.

I know its’ only natural that we want to try to spend as little as possible when we go somewhere like the vet, but I’ve learned more can be better. For example, instead of buying one pack of two flea treatments for my two dogs, I bought three packets.
The return: I got one free. Saved me about $17. Ask your vet about the up side of buying multiple medicine, etc.

As if any Goodwill store isn’t affordable enough, there is a Goodwill Outlet Center in Dayton. It is full of items that didn’t sell at the ‘upscale’ Goodwill sites. There are designer slacks for $2, baby clothes for less than a dollar and more. Watch for the bins coming out of the backroom. They dump a bunch of stuff on a table and the customers just fly to grab the best stuff.
The address is 4912 Airway Road.
