Time to apply for free lunch

It’s time again to apply for free and reduced price lunch at local schools.

Franklin City Schools sent over a press release today with the income scale qualifying families for the lunch program, as well as free milk.

Applications are being mailed to every family and are also available at the district.

The income scale to be eligible is:

One child: $14,079 for free meals, $20,036 for reduced-price meals

Two children: $18,941 for free, $26,955 for reduced

Three children: $23,803 for free, $33,874 for reduced

Four children: $28,665 for free, $40,793 for reduced

Five children: $33,527 for free, $47,712 for reduced

Six children: $38,389 for free, $54,631 for reduced

Seven children: $43,251 for free, $61,550 for reduced

Eight children: $48,113 for free, $68,469 for reduced
