School needs less money for gas
Franklin City Schools is spending less on disel gas.
When gas prices jumped last year, the district soon found it spent $190,000 on gas for school buses.
So they budgeted the same for this year.
But the treasurer told the Board of Education they can reduce the amount they have set aside for gas by $80,000 now that prices are back down.
Let’s hope they stay there.
