Action or no action?

The Madison Board of Education is meeting at 6 p.m. today to discuss selecting an interim superintendent.

I printed in today’s paper that President Glenn Cappel said there would be no action at this meeting, but heard from the treasurer today in an e-mail that possible action is planned.

However, I just spoke with Cappel again and he said he’s 100 percent sure there will be no action.

Superintendent Chris Cline will retire at the end of December.
