Madison board mum on selection

I’ve heard a lot of people wondering why the Madison Board of Education picked Pete Robinson for the vacant board seat.

When I asked board President Glenn Cappel about why the board selected Robinson, he said simply that Robinson was “the best candidate.”

I still haven’t heard back from board member Brian McGuire and Vice President Tim Young, who I called the afternoon of the selection.
