Officer, I was scratching an itch
SPRINGBORO Sept. 4 An officer responded to the area of Holly Court and Pursley Lane after a complainant reported a male was exposing himself in a garage.
The officer arrived and observed the male, who was wearing a blue button-up shirt, socks, and no pants or underwear. The subject saw him and began walking toward the garage entrance to the house. He fell while he was trying to get out of sight.
The officer asked where his pants were and the subject said they were in the house. He was escorted inside where he out on a pair of boxer briefs. He told the officer he thought it was OK to be in the garage without any underwear or pants because his shirt was long enough to cover his genitals.
The subject was advised that people saw his genitals and reported that he was masturbating. He denied the act and said he had an itch on his genitals and was scratching.
One witness was waiting to pick up her kindergarten-age child from a nearby school bus stop when she observed the subject.
The subject was arrested on a charge of public indecency.
