Man says he can drive, if he says so himself

ENGLEWOOD July 23 An officer stopped a driver in the 500 block of North Main Street after witnessing him drive erratically. There was an odor of alcohol on the breath of the subject as he spoke to the officer. He said he drank about three beers. The driver complied when ordered to exit his vehicle, dropping a quarter that was in his lap as he did so. The officer asked the subject if he should be driving or if he should have called for a ride. The subject said he thought he was fine to drive “but probably not by government standards.” He submitted to field sobriety tests and was subsequently arrested for operating a vehicle intoxicated.

HAHAHAHA, that guy’s funny! An idiot for driving that way, but funny. Thank God he got pulled over before he hurt anyone. Also thank God he didn’t try to harm the officer and run away. If you’re gonna be a drunk, be a compliant one - and don’t get behind the wheel!
