Sibling disagreement spills over into attack on vehicle

DAYTON March 3 A complainant reported her vehicle was damaged while parked in the 800 block of Lilac Avenue. She told officers she and her brother previously got into an argument and destroyed each other’s property. Since then, she said, her brother has sent text messages stating he would damage her vehicle if she doesn’t pay him. Damage to her vehicle included a scratched and dented hood, cracked windshield, missing driver’s side mirror and gas cap. “I want my money $300” was written on the trunk. The complainant stated it appeared as if someone beat the vehicle with a Bissell vacuum cleaner that was in a trash pile in front of the house.
