Thief strikes at hospital, swipes purse

DAYTON June 18 A complainant reported she was in Miami Valley Hospital, 1 Wyoming St., visiting her husband when her purse was stolen. She told police she had fallen asleep on the cot she was lying on and when she woke up, her purse was gone. It contained her driver’s license, bank debit card, checkbook and about $200 in cash. The hospital security camera in that area was not working at the time.

First of all, why do you assume that the hospital is at fault? How about placing the blame where it should be, on the theif!!! Secondly, if I had a purse that had that much money in it the money would have gone in my pocket or better yet, I wouldn’t have brought that much cash with me. Unfortunately there are too many people out there that want to place blame in the wrong place!!!
