Those pesky parking lot islands get you every time

TROY March 28 Miami County 911 dispatchers had to call Troy police to their communication center when they saw a disabled car stuck on a grass island in the parking lot about 1:30 a.m. While en route, Troy police were told by dispatchers that the car’s driver was staggering around the parking lot. When they arrived, she was back in the car. The front tires were over the curb and in the grass on the island. The subject was charged with drunk driving and reckless operation on private property.
