He was drunk but had a hankering to have clean hair
DAYTON April 2 A male in Walgreens, 2710 Salem Ave., caught the security officer’s attention when he stumbled into a display, knocking down some merchandise. He then exclaimed, “I’m really drunk!” The subject headed to the exit, stuffing bottles of shampoo into his jacket. The security officer followed him outside and stopped him. Several bottles slipped out from under the subject’s jacket. A struggle ensued when the security officer tried to detain the subject until police arrived. The subject fled, but was later apprehended in the 2000 block of Alpena Court after the responding officer’s broadcast description was heard by other crews. A bottle of Axe shampoo was located on the subject’s person, as well as two pipes used to smoke crack cocaine. He was arrested on a charge of unarmed robbery and cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.
