Something Drove him up the Wall

VANDALIA March 17 Police were called to Sunbelt Rentals, 3715 Wyse Road, because a vehicle was stuck on a wall at the business. The driver said he was pulling into a parking spot when the brakes on his 1982 truck failed. The truck jumped the parking block and became stuck on the wall. The driver was unable to back the truck off, and police called a tow truck. He was found to be driving under suspension and was cited for the violation. The truck wouldn’t run and there was no way to determine if the brakes actually failed. There was damage to the retaining wall.
