Miami beats Alabama-Huntsville
The Miami hockey team scored a 3-1 victory over Alabama-Huntsville Friday night in a non-league game at Steve Cady Arena.
Miami out-shot UAH 32-12 and raised its record to 16-13-2. The Chargers fell to 2-27-1.

Miami’s hockey team leads Alabama-Huntsville 3-1 after two periods tonight at Steve Cady Arena.
The RedHawks scored two goals in the second period, the first by Bryon Paulazzo (assisted by Trent Vogelhuber and Curtis McKenzie), the second by Reilly Smith (assisted by Ben Paulides and Austin Czarnik),
Smith’s goal was his 21st of the season.
Miami has out-shot UAH 24-10.

The Miami RedHawks and Alabama-Huntsville Chargers are tied 1-1 after one period a their non-league hockey game tonight at Steve Cady Arena.
Miami took the lead 9:28 into the period on a goal by Tyler Biggs, assisted by Chris Wideman and Austin Czarnik.
The Chargers tied it at 13:52 on a goal by Jamie Easton, assisted by Lasse Uusivirta and Tom Durnie.
Miami has a 10-5 advantage in shots on goal.
