Kent St. struggling to put Miami away

Kent State leads the Miami RedHawks 47-41 with 11:26 left in the second half tonight, Feb. 27 at M.A.C. Center.

The Golden Flashes had led by nine at halftime, but Miami stormed back to tie the game 41-41 on a 3-point basket by Julian Mavunga. KSU answered with three straight baskets,

Justin Green leads Kent State with 18 points and eight rebounds. Mavunga has scored 14 points for Miami and Nick Winbush has 10.
