RedHawks hold off Irish for 1-0 win

Cody Reichard recorded his second shutout of the season with 24 saves as the Miami hockey team defeated Notre Dame 1-0 tonight, Dec. 4 at Steve Cady Arena.

The victory was only the second in the last seven games for the top-ranked RedHawks, who are 2-1-4 over that span.

Freshman defenseman Joe Hartman scored the game’s only goal in the first period, the first time this season Miami has scored in the first period at home.
