Miami, Ferris headed for overtime
We’re headed for overtime here at Steve Cady Arena in Oxford. Miami and Ferris State are tied 1-1. If nobody scores in OT, the contest will go down as a tie, but will continue with a shootout to see who gains an extra point in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association standings.

Miele pulls Miami even with Ferris
Miami’s Andy Miele has scored with 14:32 remaining in regulation, forging a 1-1 tie with visiting Ferris State at Steve Cady Arena. Miele blasted a shot from near the FSU blue line past Bulldog goalie Pat Nagle.

Miami trails Ferris 1-0 after two periods
The top-ranked Miami University hockey team is down 1-0 against Ferris State after two periods at Steve Cady Arena.
Aaron Lewicki scored a power-play goal midway through the second period for the Bulldogs, besting MU goalie Connor Knapp and ending the RedHawks’ streak of 17 straight penalty kills. Both goalies have played very well, Knapp has 25 saves for the RedHawks and Pat Nagle has 23 for Ferris.
Puck is about to drop in the third period.
