HOCKEY: Miami vs. Ferris State
Hello and welcome to tonight’s Central Collegiate Hockey Association match between the no.1-ranked Miami RedHawks and the visiting Ferris State Bulldogs.
I’m John Bombatch and I’ll be doing my best to keep you updated on tonight’s hockey game.
Ferris State is 2-2-0 in CCHA action and 7-3 overall. They’re a perfect 6-0 on their home ice up in Big Rapids, Michigan.
Miami is 5-1-0 in the CCHA and 8-1-1 overall. They’re returning home after a perfect 4-0 road trip that included dual wins over Northern Michigan and Michigan.
Miami leads the head-to-head series 41-39-13, but has only a 21-20-5 margin in games played here in Oxford. In fact, Ferris State has a 3-0-1 mark against Miami in their last four meetings.
I’ll do my best to provide you with constant updates from Steve Cady Arena, here on the Miami University campus in Oxford, Ohio. Hope you enjoy the coverage!
