Miami pulls to within 5 of Temple

Staff report

The Miami RedHawks have scored two touchdowns in the fourth quarter and trail the Temple Owls 31-26 with 8:52 left in tonight’s Mid-American Conference game at Lincoln Financial Field.

Miami quarterback Zac Dysert threw a 25-yard touchdown pass to tight end Steve Marck with 13:35 left in the final period, and after a Temple punt, Miami drove again and scored on a 14-yard touchdown pass from Dysert to Armand Robinson.

It was Robinson’s second touchdown reception of the night.

Temple had taken a 31-13 lead late in the third quarter on a 14-yard touchdown run by true freshman Bernard Pierce, his third touchdown of the night.
