Miami’s offensive line stacked with freshmen

The new two-deep depth chart released by Miami University’s football team a few days ago shows an interior offensive line that is inexperienced. Very inexperienced. Five of the 10 players listed at center, guard and tackle are freshmen.
Brad Bednar (6-foot-4, 273 pounds, from Mentor), who is called a “gray shirt freshman” because he was recruited last year and graduated from high school last year but did not come to Miami until this year, is first string at center. His back-up is true freshman John Anevski (6-3, 283, Cincinnati), an Elder grad.
The starting right tackle is redshirt freshman Matt Kennedy (6-5, 258, Mount Prospect, Ill.). His back-up is true freshman Josh Harvey (6-5, 335, Columbia, Mo.).
Redshirt freshman Andrew Phelan (6-4, 315, West Chester), a former Lakota West Firebird, is listed as No. 2 at right guard.
This could be interesting for an offense coming off a spectacularly bad year.

“spectacularly bad” I guess that means we were better than “horribly bad.”
