Highlighter party at Club Vex
Whatever floats your boat, Dayton has some of it to offer this weekend. A small taste of what’s on tap at local bars Friday and Saturday night:
Neon Highlighter Party
Vex is turning off the lights this Saturday for a glow-tastic party. Black lights will make everyone wearing day-glow, white, body paint or highlighter marker glow.
Wear body paint or dress in all white to be a blank canvas that others can sign and draw on during the event.
Highlighters will be handed out to those who get there early, but bring your own just in case. This is an 18 and up event.
Where: Club Vex, 101 S. St. Clair St., Dayton
When: 10 p.m. to 4 a.m., Sat. Dec. 17
The bite: $5 cover before midnight, $10 after midnight

Ugly Christmas sweaters and sexy Santa outfits are welcome at this festive performance by Jah Soul and Demolition Crew, as are plain old regular clothes.

Anyone in the mood for some country music this weekend? Dayton’s own Bourbon Lakes will be playing a free show at Zipper’s.
