South Beach hosts benefit for Hopper family

You can go out anywhere this weekend, but only one event will put your partying dollars toward helping a local family in need.

Hopper Family Benefit

South Beach Nite Club, along with sponsors Smokey Bones and LA Tan, are hosting a fundraiser to benefit the children of Clark County Deputy Suzanne Hopper, killed in the line of duty earlier this year. They’ll be doing a 50/50 raffle, silent auction and other activities to raise money. Enjoy special prices on drinks and a free food buffet courtesy of Smokey Bones from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. DJ Chris Rock will be spinning all night long.

Where: South Beach Nite Club, 729 Lyons Road, Centerville

When: 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 25

The bite: $5
