Therapy hosting local celebs for karaoke fundraiser Thursday

The second of two American Heart Association “Sing Your Heart Out” karaoke fundraisers to benefit the 2011 Heart Ball will be held Thursday, Feb. 24 at Therapy Cafe, 452 E. Third St., Dayton.

The first event was held Saturday, Feb. 5 at the Wine Loft at The Greene and raised $1,000 for the event, which will take place March 26 at the Sinclair Community College Ponitz Center.

Participants at Therapy can donate money to sing by themselves, with a group, or with a local celebrity. Brittny McGraw from WHIO-TV Channel 7 and Kellen Winslow, Sr. Pro Football Hall of Famer will be there to lend their voices to the cause.

The event runs from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. and there is a $5 cover charge. For more information call (937) 853-3108 or visit www.heart.org/dayton.
