Draughts for under $1
After a short vacation this weekend my wallet is feeling the effects of over-priced food and a couple tanks of gas. So this week is all about cheap beer.
These specials all run at least through the summer, so they are best bets to keep in mind any time you’re feeling strapped for cash.

Beef O’Brady’s
Beef’s is practically giving beer away with 99 cent domestic drafts all day, every day, all summer long. Imports and domestic craft beers are only $1.99. If you want a bucket, five domestic cans or bottles are $8.99 and five import bottles are $13.99.
Where: Beef O’Brady’s two Dayton-area locations: 3347 Seajay Dr., Beavercreek, (937) 431-9050. 953 S. Main St. Centerville, (937) 433-9400.
When: Both locations’ hours are 11 a.m. - 11 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m. - Midnight Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. on Sundays.
The bite: No cover
Trolley Stop
The folks at Trolley stop pride themselves on their frequently rotating selection of unique craft beers, usually in the $5 to $8 per draft range. But even they want to give your wallet a rest once in a while. Mondays and Thursdays domestic drafts are only $1 each.
Where: Trolley Stop, 530 E. Fifth St., Dayton, (937) 461-1101
When: Hours are Monday-Saturday 11a.m. - 2 a.m., Sunday 8 p.m. - midnight.
The bite: Varying cover charge if there is live music.
Adobe Gila’s
Every Tuesday, Adobe Gila’s is the place for cheap draft beer - two quarters cheap. From 8 p.m. to close small domestic drafts are 50 cents a piece. Stop by earlier for their $1 beer and cheeseburger special and Happy Hour from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m.

The Pour Haus on Rte. 725 in Centerville, also has domestic drafts for $1 every Friday night until 9:00.

The Filling Station Sports bar & Grill @ 4317 Linden Ave. Has 1.49 pints 1.89 tall boys & 5.00 Pitchers all day every day. The Happy Hour is M-F 1p-7p.

Boston’s Bistro and Pub has $2 pints of handcrafted beer daily, happy hour 3-7 13 biers on tap and 100 different bottles available. Monday is $2 martini night, tuesday is ladies night with $1 lost in boston drinks and 1/2 of their delight pizza… check out this jewel at www.bostonsbistro.com

Harrigan’s Tavern South in Washington Township has $1 pints, $2 26 oz mugs and $3 domestic pitchers before each 8PM NCAA or NFL football game. $1 off all imports on Sundays!
