There are plenty of pubs to crawl to and from on New Year’s Eve

For those looking to toast the New Year over and over and over again, here’s a list of places who’d love to have you. Don’t see a party that matches your style? Check out the FULL LIST of NYE happenings on the events calendar.

Celebrate on the cheap $:

Boston’s: Hungarian New Year’s Eve Gala from 10 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. 21 and older. Hats and party favors and a champagne toast at midnight. No cover. $2-$3 pints. 7500 North Main St, Dayton. (937) 461-1002.

Dublin Pub: Party at 9 p.m. The Dublin Pub’s New Year’s Eve party will feature live music by rock cover band Last Call, $10 bottles of champagne and complimentary party favors. $5 cover. Call (937) 224-7822 for more information. 300 Wayne Ave., Dayton.

The Fox & Hound English Pub & Grill: There will be a complimentary appetizer buffet and a free champagne toast at midnight. A DJ will start at 9 p.m. There will be prizes inside the balloons at a midnight balloon drop. 2661 Fairfield Commons Blvd., Beavercreek. (937) 426-4145

The Springs Bar and Grill: $5 gets you a full sauerkraut and pork dinner with mashed potatoes, plus a champagne toast at midnight and entertainment all night from the High Octane Band. Tables are limited so call (937) 748-4649 to reserve yours today. 80 Edgebrooke Drive, Springboro.

Yellow Rose Nightclub: Party favors, champagne toast and balloon drop with more than $1,000 in prizes at midnight. $5 cover. 852 Watertower Lane, West Carrollton. (937) 866-7765.

The 88 Club: Party from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. This dance club hosts a New Year’s Eve party with live entertainment, a champagne toast and balloon drop and drink specials. Breakfast buffet at 3 a.m. 21 and older. Call (937) 266-2622 for more. 219 N. Patterson Blvd., Dayton.

Bar Louie: Pre-sale tickets are $60. Bar opens at 8 p.m. for $60 tickets. Next round at 9 p.m. and tickets are $65. Unlimited drinks from 9 p.m. to midnight. Funny Bone: 7 and 10:30 p.m. New Year’s Eve extravaganza comedy shows for ages 18 and older. $45 includes pre-show buffet from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. for 7 p.m. show. $70 includes pre-show buffet from 9:30 to 10:15 p.m. for 10:30 p.m. show. Hammerjax: There will be a DJ on all three floors. Third floor is a private party. Private Party tickets are $125 per couple. Includes a room at the Crown Plaza Hotel and champagne. Dayton should consider a light passenger rail system and less dependence on cars!

I hear that all applebees are having 1 dollar 22 ounce Miller Lites with a Taxi Ride fare. This starts when they open the door until they close at 1am that night. Sound like a place to kickoff the evening especially with half price appetizers!

The Crowne Plaza has a special room rate of $69 for the night, free parking and free shuttle service for guests until 3am.
