Two events worth getting Vexed about
If you haven’t stopped by Club Vex, 101 S. St. Clair St., Dayton, (formerly the Pearl) since its makeover earlier this year, then this is the week to do so.
Tuesday night is the weekly ’80s night per usual, but with a nice bonus for true ’80s fans. Vex and Walker Auto Group are giving away $80 worth of gas cards to those who can show off their ’80s trivia knowledge. Plus DJ Matt Freeman and Adam Sabin take your requests all night long.
When: 9 p.m. to 3 a.m., Tuesday, June 23 (and every Tuesday for the foreseeable future)
The bite: No cover for guys 21 and over and ladies 18 and over. Guys 18-20 pay $3.
Wednesday night is for the ladies to let loose and try their luck on the pole. All ladies are welcome to enter the pole dancing contest and compete for the crowd’s votes. All door proceeds will go to the winner. If you need some liquid courage Long Islands will be only $3 and Coronas five for $10.
When: Club open 9 p.m. to 3 a.m., contest starts at 1 a.m., June 24
The bite: Ladies are free, guys $2
