Best videogames of the year … drum roll please
The Game Critics Awards has posted its Best of E3 awards based on what was rolled out at the 2007 E3 Media and Business Summit in LA and the winners have been announced.
Best of Show was awarded to “Rock Band’ which takes the pure genius, addicting fun premise of “Guitar Hero” and expands on it letting you create an entire band. Due out for Xbox 360 and PS3 in time for the December holidays, you will be able to play with friends online.
Currently there are several local bars and restaurants in town including Chammps and BW-3 that offers a “Guitar Hero” night for customers to play against other customers. I wonder if they’ll upgrade when “Rock Band” comes out? And speaking of — have you seen some of the Youtube video out there of folks smoking through lightening rounds of “Guitar Hero?” It’s impressive stuff.
