Save hundreds on electronics at Walmart Saturday

Walmart is having a pre-Black Friday sale, marking down some major electronics to record-low prices to entice shoppers.

This Saturday, November 7th, starting at 8 a.m., Walmart will be having an exclusive 6-item sale, including the Xbox 360 for $199, plus get a $100 gift card when you buy it, and a laptop computer for $298. I got the scoop from bfads.net, a Web site which posts Black Friday ads before they come out. To check out the savings this weekend at Walmart, go to the Black Friday Ads Web site here.

Update: I would remind my readers that this is a blog for savings, not a blog for inappropriate name-calling and speech. This is about saving money, so please keep focus.

Free aromatherapy oil, flupak, canvas portrait and more

Yesterday was a very busy day news-side but I am back today with some more blogs, including a round-up of the latest freebies up for grabs. Get ‘em while you can!

Request a free drink sample of Plexus Slim here.

Sign up for this free Tylenol online calendar and get a bunch of coupons off Tylenol products. This would match up nicely with the Mega Sale event happening at Kroger this week. Print out some of these coupons and get very cheap and free Tylenol products!

Get a free sample of Intimate Organics Aromatherapy Oil in Lemongrass and Coconut here.

Just in time for those holiday packages and cards, click here to get free Avery shipping and address labels.

Walmart is offering a free Garnier Nutritioniste sample here. This is supposed to help reduce the signs of sun damage around your eyes.

Get ready for flu season with this free FluPak, which includes a disposable face mask, tow anti-bacterial hand wipes, thermometer, and information on the seasonal flu.

This is a HOT deal and I am not sure how much longer it will last. Canvaspeople.com is offering a free 8x10 canvas portrait or $55 off any order when you sign-up here. You have to pay shipping, which is $14.95, but that is still much lower than what the typical canvas portrait will cost you. This would be a great gift for a family member or a way to get personal, unique art in your home! But hurry! I ordered an artistic photo I took on my last vacation, it will make a great piece of art in my den.

Surprise the kids this year by getting these free personalized letters from Santa. It comes in the mail and will really make the kids excited if they still believe in old Mr. Claus.

Get gift cards for old video games

Toys-R-Us has launched a new “Trade Games for Gift Cards” plan. Check out the list of games they will accept for trade-in, print a shipping label, mail it to the address provided and they’ll mail you a gift card for the trade-value.

This isn’t necessarily a revolutionary idea, a lot of stores will buy used video games for cash or credit, such as Blockbuster, Amazon.com and Game Stop. Which program is best for you depends on your shopping preferences.

This Toys-R-Us deal might be a good one if you’ve got kids and there are games they don’t play anymore you could trade-in for gift cards to get other toys they like for Christmas.

For more information on the new program at Toys-R-Us, click here.
