Lebanon Supt. applies for Beavercreek post
Lebanon schools Superintendent Mark North is one of 11 applicants for the same position with Beavercreek schools. Other applicants include: • Larry Hook, assistant superintendent, Springboro. • Steve Price, superintendent, Middletown. • Norman Burkhardt, assistant superintendent, Sidney. • Dale Houck, founder Friends in Deed. • Aaron Mackey, consultant, Administrative Assistance. • Timm Mackley, consultant, Ohio Department of Education. • Carl Metzger, superintendent, Marion Local. • Judith Miller, superintendent, North East School District (Penn.). • Kevin Miller, superintendent, Hicksville Exempted Village. • Jim Schoenlein, director of secondary education, Kettering.

Little Miami levy rallies
A group of Little Miami students are holding two rallies on Monday, May 4, in support of the district’s tax levy. From 5-6:30 p.m., Monday, students will be at both the intersection of U.S. 22/Ohio 3 and U.S. 48, and at the base of an anti-levy billboard on U.S. 22/Ohio 3. Election day is Tuesday, May 5. Polls are open from 6:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
