Fund-raiser for Leah Jordan
Another fund-raiser will be held for the 10-year-old daughter of a Little Miami teacher. Leah Jordan, whose mother Ellen teaches at Little Miami Junior High, is suffering from Leukemia. Leah’s teacher and classmates at Loveland Elementary are holding a carnival at the school from 4-7 p.m., Friday, May 1, to raise money for her treatments. Activities include games, a booth to throw pies at teachers, a karaoke station, face painting, food for sale, a bake sale and a raffled.

Fine Arts Festival in Little Miami
The Little Miami “Rhythms and Renderings” Fine Arts Festival takes place this weekend at Little Miami High School. Festivities are 5-9 p.m., Friday, April 24, and 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Saturday, April 25. Schedule of Events: Friday, April 24 (High School auditorium) 6 p.m. - Loomis Piano Studio 7 p.m. - Salem 3rd and 4th Grade 8 p.m. - High School Select Mixed Choir and Select Women’s Chorale
