Alternative School student helps mom through Steve Wilkos Show

Whitney Brock, a sophomore at the Warren County Alternative School has an incredible story to tell - and it’s all true. Brock recently appeared on the Steve Wilkos Show with her mother, who is addicted to drugs. Brock wanted to get her mother the help she needs, so she called several television shows and finally Wilkos showed up at her home in South Lebanon. Brock said producers urged her to play up the drama between her and her mother, but she said she didn’t have to. “This is real life,” she said. Brock, who now lives with her uncle while her mother is in rehab, wants to continue her schooling at the Career Center and enroll in the cosmetology program.

Good for you Whitney Brock for loving and caring about your mother that you didn’t stop until you got her the help you both deserve. I admire you for taking such a difficult situation into your own hands a a young age. I hope your Mom is on the path to recovery.
