Little Miami levy amount to be determined tonight
The Little Miami school board will decide tonight which of the three levy options they will place on the May ballot. Regardless of the levy, the district still faces millions of dollars in budget cuts. How did this happen? The levy that was passed several years ago was strictly for the construction of new buildings to compensate for the rapid growth of the district. The district even rolled back its previous operational levy to give taxpayers a break. However, after state budget cuts and changes in school funding, coupled with continued growth, the district finds itself in trouble. Now they have to ask taxpayers during difficult financial times to support the school with a large levy. What questions do you have for the district about its finances?

What exactly has the school board done to cut costs. I would like specifics. I want proof that, if they are asking me to spend more money, what have they done.
