Little Miami asking for earned income tax

Little Miami Local Schools are asking voters to pass a 1 percent earned income tax to fund its operating expenses. If the tax does not pass, the district will have two chances to pass an operating levy early next year, but if they are unable to find a way to bring in more revenue, the district will face $4 million in cuts by the 2009-2010 school year.
