Little Miami moving in new direction
At its meeting tonight, May 20, the Little Miami school board is expected to accept the resignation of Pat Dubbs, who was named the new superintendent of Wayne Local Schools last week. School officials have not yet said whether Dubbs will be replaced, or if his duties will could be divided among other department heads in a cost-cutting measure. District officials have said they stand to face some “financial challenges” in the near future, as the board approved the placement of an earned income tax on the November ballot. Wayne schools will face their own challenges as they try to get a 10-mil levy passed either in August or November.
