Waynesville book swap
In an effort to help students remember what they learned over the past school year, Wayne Local Schools is holding a summer book swap all this week. According to the district newsletter, research has shown that over a 6-year period, cumulative summertime lag can leave a student nearly two years behind in reading achievement skills. Students can donate their books by bringing them to school. Other books can be donated by contacting Krista Muterspaw of the Waynesville Literacy Team.
