PantherTurf field gets green light

A group of Little Miami Local School District parents have launched an ambitious project to raise money for the renovation of the high school stadium. Little Miami could see the first phase - installation of an artificial turf on the high school’s football field - as early as this fall, according to Little Miami officials. The school board Thursday night approved a $720,000 budget for the project, allowing the district to go out for bid. The contract will be awarded may 26, allowing construction to begin shortly thereafter, with the goal of having the field ready to use for the fall sports season.
