What happened to Hannah Montana?
From local talk radio to national TV news, people are talking about the photos of Miley Cyrus in Vanity Fair. Before Disney found out about the photos and Miley apologized, she said, “… I had a big blanket on. And I thought, This looks pretty, and really natural. I think it’s really artsy.” What are your thoughts about the 15-year-old posing for what many call provocative and even pornographic imagines? And if her parents really were on the set the whole time, what were they thinking?

I don’t get the big deal. I don’t know any little kids who even read Vanity Fair, and honestly, it’s up to the parents to monitor what their kids are consuming. Just because Miley Cyrus is on a magazine cover doesn’t mean my children have to have it. No, I’m more concerned for magazine editors who a.) think “provocative” photos of a 15-year-old mean good business or b.) want to attract pedophiles as their principal readership. Even if I was a regular reader of Vanity Fair (which I admittedly am not) I would be too uncomfortable to read this issue.
