Is field turf worth the cash?

The Little Miami and Lebanon school boards each approved plans last week to allow community groups to officially begin raising private funds to pay for artificial turf to be installed on the high school football fields. Each project requires the groups to raise about $1 million. While no tax dollars are being used for either project, there are still dissenters. Will you donate money for the field? What cause would you rather give money to? What keeps you from making it happen?
