More burger chatter…

Hey, you guys love to talk about burgers…

Check out yesterday’s post down below asking for Dayton’s best, as Five Guys gets ready to come to town. One of the commenters mentioned California-based In-N-Out Burgers, a fairly well-known chain that is mostly on the West Coast. Coincidentally, I found a story about the chain yesterday, too, and it’s worth a read.

Sounds yummy. Simple is good.

Anybody been to one?

BTW, commenter Vick Mickunas is right about the Sunrise Cafe in Yellow Springs. You deserve to try to a Vick Burger there… And in other burger news, our DDN food guy Mark Fisher has posted this item today on his Taste blog about a changeup in Denny’s burger lineup that sounds worthwhile… We’ll have to stop by and see…

Meanwhile, what do y’all have against the Pine Club? Sheesh.

When I lived in So. Cal. it was normal for us to go to In-n-Out at least once a week. Five Guys is good, but In-n-Out is out of this world. They even package your meal for you so you can eat and drive - if you wish. It is everything a burger and fries should be. I have never found anything that compares to it.

Buying hamburger is confusing. Ground Chuck, Ground Sirloin, fat content? Many choices at the grocery store. I would like to know what cuts of meat, how much fat the different restaurants use in their burgers.

Five Guys’s burgers and fries are much better than In-N-Out, which is good and cheap. We’ll In-N-Out, we’re not within a day’s drive of southern California.
