Record number of Ohio students take ACT
With the ACT phasing out the Ohio Graduation Test, I thought this was an interesting blurb from the Ohio School Boards Association.
“Ohio students set a record this year, with 88,754 taking the ACT college entrance exam, according to the Ohio Department of Education. That figure represents 64 percent of the state’s high school graduates. Ohio students also continued to outperform the nation on the ACT, with an average composite score of 21.7, compared to 21.1 nationally.”
