Now we know why the Dayton Daily is “always” writing about Alter, they have teams that win in several sports every year.

Wow! Must be tough to win year in and year out with the top athletes, top students and parents with money. That combination equals a winning all the way around.

When you combine little rich kids that work harder than their peers at other schools, dedicated but underpaid coaches, and substandard facilities, it’s amazing what can be achieved.

My son is attending Alter this year as a freshman and my wife and I are both teachers. Billybob are we the “rich parents” that you are talking about when you generalize an entire community based on your opinion and not facts. The fact is we are challenged to send him there but he is challenged with the academics and athletics so he is better prepared for life.

Alter is the greatest in everything, better than any school around. All the rest are low class scum.

Hey Fairmont Billybob, if all it takes is money, brains and athletic ability, why are my Oakwood Jacks 0-5 in football? Maybe Alter knows what they’re doing….unlike your F-birds.

Alter would do better in D1 than Fairmont would do in D4.

Gotta love the GCL. Alter has a great tradition and it’s fun to watch up and coming Fenwick.

Alter is a very good school, great results, too bad they are a bunch of stuck up snobs - pretty much why no one likes them and they have no friends outside their school.

Alter was not the football powerhouse it now is when I attended. We were better known for basketball.

Why are the kids from Alter snobs? You show your ignorance and your jealousy when you make a statement like that. Alter is a good school with a lot of good kids and parents that take an interest in their kids. Every school in the area has good kids and parents that care too. If Alter was not so successful in sports, you wouldn’t hear any of this stuff. Take your hatred and your baloney some place else. Go Knights.

Hey Snobs - my daughter goes to Alter, she is a snob, her friends are snobs, your kids are snobs, admit it, don’t hide from it, you like it.
