They are among eight nominees for the all-star football game from Southwest Ohio. Also nominated were Cincinnati Taft players Dwayne Stanford (WR) and Adolphus Washington (DL) and Joe Bolden of Colerain (LB).

They are among 440 nominees throughout the country. Ultimately, 90 players will be chosen to play for the East or West teams.

McGowan (Michigan State), Ringer (Michigan), Foster (Cincinnati) and Decker (Notre Dame) have already verbally committed.

The game will be played on Saturday, Jan. 7, at the Alamodome in San Antonio and will be shown live on NBC.
